System health, logs and cleanup
Oct 15, 2026
System Health
System > System Health (also Settings > System Health) checks the server and the installation and marks each item PASS, WARN or ATTENTION:
- version, license and app URL, web server, PHP version, required and recommended extensions, disabled functions, memory limit, upload limits, time zone, sessions, cURL,
- website SSL, database connection and driver, pending database updates,
- writable storage paths, config file permissions, files that must not be downloadable,
- automatic update requirements, update safety (an interrupted update, space for the backup), file storage,
- cron (background jobs), queue, email delivery, error reporting (debug mode), admin path,
- disk space and the size of the error log.
Each row says what is wrong and how to fix it. A button copies the whole report as plain text, which is handy for support.
System Information
Settings > System Information shows PHP, server and environment details, including the loaded extensions.
Logs
Settings > System Logs has four logs, all with filters and a detail window:
| Log | Records |
|---|---|
| Activity | Who changed what in the admin area |
| Every email, with status sent, failed or queued | |
| Provision | Every server and registrar action with request and response |
| Payment Gateway | Every gateway call |
SMS and WhatsApp logs appear when you install those plugins. The error log is storage/logs/laravel.log.
Retention
In General Settings > General set how long to keep activity, provision and gateway log entries. A nightly job (logs:prune) deletes older ones.
System Cleanup
Settings > System Cleanup deletes old records in bulk. For each category (email, SMS and WhatsApp logs, ticket attachments, activity logs) pick a cutoff date, preview how many records are affected and delete them. This is permanent, so make a backup first.
Automation Report
System > Automation Report shows one card for each step of the daily run: invoices generated, late fees, invoice and overdue reminders, cancellation requests, overdue suspensions, overdue terminations, domain renewal notices, inactive tickets, client emails and exchange rates. Each card shows how many records the step handled and, where it makes sense, how many failed. A card says Off when its switch in Automation Settings is off. The top card shows whether the cron job is running.
Pick a day with the date field, then click a card. A popup lists the records the step handled on that day, such as the invoice ID, client name, status, due date and total, with links to each record. Steps that have parts have a tab for each part, for example Unpaid, First, Second and Third for reminders, or Services and Domains for generated invoices.
What a card shows is read from your invoices, the mail log and the activity log, so it lists real records. If you have cleared old logs, earlier days show only what is still kept. The page needs the Automation Settings permission.
Alerts
Install the Slack, Discord or Web Push plugins to be told about orders and urgent tickets. Use an uptime monitor on your home page so you know if the site goes down.
