Managing services

Oct 15, 2026

A service is one product a client bought: a hosting account, a VPS, an email plan, a license. Open Services in the sidebar to list and filter them, or open a service from a client's page.

Status

Status Meaning
Pending Ordered, not created yet
Active Running
Suspended Stopped, usually for non-payment
Terminated Removed
Cancelled Cancelled
Fraud Stopped as fraudulent

The service page

You can edit:

  • Server, Domain, Dedicated IP, Username and Password (leave the password blank to keep it),
  • Registration Date, Quantity, First Payment Amount, Recurring Amount, Next Due Date, Termination Date, Billing Cycle, Payment Method and Promotion Code,
  • configurable options and custom fields (some can be admin-only),
  • Admin Notes and the subscription ID.

Saving updates WHBMP's record. Use Module Commands to act on the server. See Provisioning.

Buttons

  • Log in to Control Panel opens the panel for this account without a password (hosting accounts).
  • New Addon adds an addon service.
  • View Invoices lists the invoices for the service.
  • Upgrade/Downgrade changes the product. Client upgrade requests appear on the service with Approve and Dismiss.
  • Transfer Ownership moves the service to another client inside WHBMP. No server action is taken.
  • Send Message emails the client using a Service email template.
  • Resend Welcome Email.
  • Delete removes the service from WHBMP only. It does not remove the account on the server.

Usage

Disk and bandwidth show after the next server sync (Refresh Usage forces it). Until then it says usage is not available.

Automatic suspension override

Pick a date to keep a service from being suspended automatically until then. Useful for a client you have agreed more time with.

Cancellations

A client's cancellation request shows on the service. The automation terminates the service at the time requested. See Renewals.

Bulk actions

On a client's page, select services and domains and use With Selected to invoice or delete them.
