How do I show my site in another language? Why is some text still in English?
Oct 19, 2026
WHBMP includes Spanish, German, French and Arabic next to English. They are off until you switch them on.
- Turn one on: Settings > General Settings > Locale > Language. Tick the language, pick the Default Language, and save. A language menu then appears on the storefront and in the client area.
- Visitors and clients choose: a client's choice is saved on their account and used for their invoices and emails. A first-time visitor gets the language of their browser if you have switched it on.
- No language menu? It shows only when a second language is ticked and Language switcher is on.
- Some text is still English: the names and descriptions you write (products, groups, billing cycles, the site menu, custom fields, knowledgebase articles, email templates) show in English until you fill in the language tabs on each edit page (see Languages). Everything else on the storefront, sign-in pages and client area is.
- Change the admin portal language: every staff member sets it on their My Account page, in the Language box under their name. It is saved on their own account and does not change what clients see. Choosing English clears it.
- Arabic PDF invoice: invoices are written in the client's language, Arabic included (right to left, letters joined). If a client's name or product name is in English, it stays left to right inside the Arabic invoice.
- A translation is wrong: the shipped translations are a first draft. Edit
