VPS and cloud servers

A VPS or dedicated server product can also be sold by the hour: see Hourly billing.
VPS and dedicated platforms work differently from cPanel-style servers. The server record is the platform's API endpoint, and each customer service is a whole instance (a virtual machine or container), not an account on a shared server.
Supported platforms

These are installed from Plugins > Add New.
These three plugins use the platforms' documented APIs but have not been tested against a running platform yet. Place one test order and reboot, reinstall and terminate it before you sell.
Set up
- Install the plugin.
- Settings > Servers > Add Server, choose the platform and enter its API details (a Hetzner project token, a Proxmox API token, or the Virtualizor master credentials).
- Press Test Connection.
- Create a product of type VPS Hosting, pick the server, and set the plan:
- Proxmox: resources as cores, memory (MB) and disk (GB).
- Virtualizor: a plan ID.
- Hetzner: a server type.
- Add a configurable option for the operating system and select it on the product's Module tab.
- Add Locations on the product's Locations tab if you sell several.
What the service page offers
Reboot, Start, Stop, Reinstall OS and Open Console, plus Suspend, Unsuspend and Terminate. The instance's ID from the platform is stored as the service's username.
