What do my license keys look like, and can I change the prefix?

A key you issue looks like ACME-7K2QD-X9M4B-LP3TR-A8HVE: a prefix, then groups of five letters and digits.

To change it, open the product in Products & Pricing, then Module Settings > License Settings:

• Key Prefix: letters and digits only, up to 12. Leave it empty to get LIC.
• Key Length: how many characters follow the prefix (20 by default).

Changing the prefix affects new keys only. To give an existing client a key in the new format, open the license under License > Licenses and use Regenerate key; the client then has to enter the new key in your software.
