Licenses and Updates

An update failed or the site is stuck in maintenance mode Read the message on System Update. Recovery runs within minutes if cron is working. You can also run artisan up or restore the database backup. How do I install a plugin? Open Plugins > Add New, press Install Now and then Activate. How do I move my license to a new server? Deactivate on the old installation, set up the new one with the same .env and activate the same key there. How do I protect my software with the license client? Download LicenseClient.php from License > Licenses, add it to your software and check the key before the software runs. How do I sell a plan that includes plugins? Make Plus and Pro plans with Sell License: tick the premium plugins on each Software License product, and keep free plugins open to everyone. How do I sell a WordPress plugin with automatic updates? Use Sell License with the Bulk license style: plans for 1, 5 or unlimited sites, a client file for your plugin, and "Update now" in wp-admin for licensed sites. How do I sell licenses for my own software? Install Sell License, add your software, make a Software License product and give customers a key that your software checks against your own site. My license shows Invalid, Expired or Not Activated Check the domain and server IP, the expiry dates and that the server can reach whbmp.com, then press Check Now. What do my license keys look like, and can I change the prefix? Keys are a prefix and groups of five letters and digits, like ACME-7K2QD-X9M4B-LP3TR-A8HVE. Set the prefix and the length per product. What happens when I change the plugins in a plan? Adding a plugin to a plan reaches every key on it at once. Removing one only stops new keys from getting it; keys that already have it keep it. What if I lose my license signing key? Restore storage/app/private/licensing/private.pem from your backup. If it is gone, a new pair can be made, but software that holds your old public key will not accept what your site signs afterwards.
