The sidebar dropdowns are all open and buttons do nothing

Symptom: after moving WHBMP to a new server (often CloudPanel with nginx), every sidebar dropdown is open, tabs do not switch and buttons do nothing. The pages themselves load and look right.

Cause: WHBMP uses Livewire, which serves its JavaScript from a route (/livewire-xxxxxxxx/livewire.min.js) instead of a real file. The default CloudPanel vhost returns a 404 for any .js URL that is not a file on disk. Alpine.js is bundled in that script, so none of the interactive parts start.

Check: press F12, open the Network tab, reload, and look for livewire.min.js. A 404 confirms it.

Fix: let missing static files fall through to Laravel. In the site's vhost add try_files $uri @backend_dynamic; to the static-file location in the HTTPS block, define @backend_dynamic as a proxy to 127.0.0.1:8080, and add try_files $uri /index.php?$args; to the static-file location in the port 8080 block. The exact blocks to paste are in Installing on CloudPanel and nginx.

Without editing nginx: run php artisan livewire:publish --assets, which copies the script to a real file.

After saving, reload with Ctrl+F5.
