Give your client area a proper footer, built from a form rather than from code: your logo, your address, your social links and columns of useful links.

What it does

  • Logo and address block for your business.
  • Social links: Facebook, X / Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, GitHub and TikTok.
  • Custom link columns: make your own columns, such as Company or Support, with the links you choose, for example Home, Contact Us or Privacy Policy.
  • Multi-column layout that rearranges itself on phones.

Good to know

  • The footer appears in the client area. The public storefront and content pages keep their own small footer with the copyright line and Terms of Service link.
  • Edit it any time from the Plugins menu. No programming is needed.

    Buy a license for this addon and enter your WHBMP license key when ordering.

    In your WHBMP admin, go to Addons → Browse.

    Find Footer Builder and click Install, then Activate.

    Open the addon's settings from the Addons page to configure it.

New Features

  • Translated screens: The screens of this plugin are available in Spanish, German, French and Arabic, following the language each staff member chooses in the admin portal (and the language of the client for client-facing pages). Arabic is shown right to left.

Notes

  • Translations: The translations are a first draft written by machine. They are part of WHBMP 2.18.0; on an older WHBMP the screens stay in English.

New Features

  • Two footers: build one footer for signed-in clients and a different one for visitors who are not signed in. Switch between them on the two tabs of the Footer Builder page; each tab shows whether that footer is saved, and a footer can be removed to go back to the plain one.
  • Public pages: the footers now also appear on the storefront and every public page. A visitor sees the logged-out footer, and a signed-in client sees the logged-in footer. When no footer is saved for a visitor, the plain footer stays.

Improvements

  • Client area: the sign-in pages use the logged-out footer, or the logged-in one when it is the only one saved. Footers saved before this version keep working as the logged-in footer.
  • Footer Builder page: the success message appears once, and the "Address & Colors" heading no longer shows a stray code.
