IPQualityScore

Check how risky an order looks before you provision it. IPQualityScore looks up the customer's IP address and returns a fraud score, so you can spot proxies, VPNs and addresses with a history of abuse.

What it does

• Fraud score for the IP address behind an order.
• Proxy, VPN and recent abuse flags, the signals that most often sit behind stolen-card and abuse orders.
• Scored at checkout: the result is attached to the order, so staff can decide whether to accept it or mark it as fraud.
• A Test Connection button checks your key with a real lookup.

Setting up

1. Create an account at ipqualityscore.com and copy your API key.
2. In WHBMP, go to Settings > Fraud Protection, choose IPQualityScore, paste the key and press Test Connection.
3. Activate it.

Good to know

• You need your own IPQualityScore account. Lookups count against its plan.
• Only one fraud provider is active at a time.
