Proxmox VE
PremiumAddon for WHBMP - Web Hosting Business Management Platform · By WHBMP · Version 1.0.0
Turn your own Proxmox VE node into a VPS product. Each order creates a Linux container (LXC) on your node, and the customer manages it from their service page.
What it does
- Creates a container when an order is paid, from the operating system template and the resources set on the product.
- Controls it: start, stop, reboot and open the console from the service page.
- Suspends and terminates the container as the invoice and service status change.
- Authenticates with a Proxmox API token, so no session handling and no password is needed.
Setting up
- In Proxmox, go to Datacenter > Permissions > API Tokens and create a token.
- In WHBMP, go to Settings > Servers, add a server of type Proxmox VE and enter the hostname (port 8006) and token.
- On the product, set the plan as
cores:memory_mb:disk_gb, for example2:2048:20for 2 cores, 2 GB of memory and 20 GB of disk.
Good to know
- This plugin sells containers, not full virtual machines. Containers pack more customers on each node and need no template VM to maintain.
- Containers are created on the first online node of your cluster.
- Start with a test node. This module follows Proxmox's published API and has not yet been proven on a production cluster.
