WhatsApp & SMS Quick Share

Premium

Addon for WHBMP - Web Hosting Business Management Platform · By WHBMP · Version 1.1.0

Send an invoice to a client over WhatsApp or SMS in two clicks, with no API key, no business account and no approved templates. It uses your own phone or the WhatsApp or Messages app on your computer.

What it does

  • A share icon on every invoice in the invoice list. Click it to open WhatsApp or your SMS app with the message already written.
  • A QR code on the invoice page. Scan it with your phone and the message opens there, ready to send from your own number.
  • The message is ready: it includes the invoice number, the amount in its own currency, the status and a link to the client's invoice page.
  • Works for any client who has a phone number on file.

Good to know

  • Nothing is sent automatically. You review the message and press send yourself, so it comes from your own number and costs nothing extra.
  • For messages that go out by themselves, use one of the SMS or WhatsApp plugins instead. The two work side by side.
  • There is nothing to set up. Turning the plugin off removes the icon and the QR code and changes nothing else.

New Features

  • Translated screens: The screens of this plugin are available in Spanish, German, French and Arabic, following the language each staff member chooses in the admin portal (and the language of the client for client-facing pages). Arabic is shown right to left.

Notes

  • Translations: The translations are a first draft written by machine. They are part of WHBMP 2.18.0; on an older WHBMP the screens stay in English.
