Addon for WHBMP - Web Hosting Business Management Platform · By WHBMP · Version 1.1.0

Tell customers what is working and what is not, on a page of your own at /status. No login is needed to read it, and you do not need a separate status service.

What it does

  • Components: list what you run, such as Website, Email or one entry per hosting server, and set each one's status.
  • Overall banner: shows the worst current status at the top, so visitors see the answer straight away.
  • Incidents with a timeline: post an incident and add timestamped updates as you work on it. Resolved incidents move to Past Incidents.
  • In your menu: a Status link appears in the site menu once you have added at least one component.

Setting up

  1. Open Plugins > Status Page Components and add your components.
  2. When something goes wrong, open Status Page Incidents, add an incident and post updates.

Good to know

  • Statuses are set by you, not detected automatically.
  • Turning the plugin off hides the public page.

    Make sure your WHBMP installation has an active license.

    In your WHBMP admin, go to Addons → Browse.

    Find Public Status Page and click Install, then Activate.

  4. 4

    Open the addon's settings from the Addons page to configure it.

  • Translated screens: The screens of this plugin are available in Spanish, German, French and Arabic, following the language each staff member chooses in the admin portal (and the language of the client for client-facing pages). Arabic is shown right to left.

Notes

  • Translations: The translations are a first draft written by machine. They are part of WHBMP 2.18.0; on an older WHBMP the screens stay in English.
